Crews in Powell County struggled into the early morning to rescue an injured hiker. The call went out to members of the Powell County Search and Rescue at around 1:30 am, that a teenager had fallen over 20 feet and needed to be rescued. The crews had to face poisonous snakes, steep slopes and difficult situation to reach the hiker. But according to Rick Harmon, of the Powell County search and rescue, one man saved the day by making sure that a suction unit got to the patient in time to keep him breathing.
