According to a news release winter months can have a negative impact on the states blood supply. Cold and Flu season disqualifies many would be donors, and winter weather can halt blood drives. To stem the shortage they are stepping up their efforts and holding more collection events. To sweeten the pot they are offering donors a chance to win a pair of tickets to the NCAA tournament’s South region being held in Louisville.
