The Scioto County Sheriff’s Department responded to residence in McDermott on Saturday, June 9, 2018, regarding a call that someone had broken into the owner’s garage and stolen a Honda Pioneer side by side. Deputies interviewed several witnesses and forwarded to case to a detective for a follow up investigation. Information was obtained that the vehicle was located in a wooded area off of Perry Road in Otway. Deputies received information that a suspect had been staying at a trailer located on State Route 73. Deputies arrested 18-year-old Zack Nelson of Columbus, charging him with aggravated burglary. He was lodged in the Scioto County Jail.
