Ky 122 at Robinson Creek in Pike County to Close Temporary Friday, June 22, 2018 for Drain Replacement

On Friday, June 22, 2018, weather permitting, KY 122 at Robinson Creek, mile point 7.7 directly in front of Hall’s Midnight Market, will be closed to all traffic from 8am until 11am. Highway District 12 Maintenance Superintendent Darvey Hamilton said the closure is necessary to replace a collapsed cross drain that runs underneath the pavement. The crew will saw through the blacktop to uncover the failed pipe culvert, remove it, and replace it with a new one. The work is estimated to take about three hours, during which time the road will be closed at the work zone site.
