Ohio Man Sentenced for Crossing into Kentucky for Sex with Minor

An Ohio man was sentenced to 360 months in prison on Thursday, September 20, 2018, for crossing a state line with the intent to engage in sexual activity with a person under 12 years of age. David Robert Dunn, 60, of Beavercreek, Ohio, admitted earlier this year that in September 2016, he traveled from Ohio to Scott County, Kentucky to have sex with a minor. He posted an internet ad, which was responded to by an undercover investigator with the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office. Dunn must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence and will be under the supervision of the United States Probation Office for five years upon release.
