Foster and Adoptive Parents Recognized for Outstanding Service

Governor Matt Bevin, First Lady Glenna Bevin, and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services recently honored several families from across Kentucky for their service as adoptive and foster parents. Families from each of the nine Department for Community Based Services service regions, as well as a Foster Family of the Year and Adoptive Family of the Year, were recognized at a recent Governor’s Mansion reception. All were selected and honored for their dedication to caring for Children in Custody of DCBS or making the commitment of adoption. Recipients for Outstanding Service include foster parents Ryan and Shantana Woodward of Pikeville and David and Amanda Frazier of West Liberty.
