The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office has made arrests following the investigation of several thefts and burglaries. The investigation began on April 10, 2019 after receiving a report of a man getting into the work trucks at Little Septic and stealing tools valued at over $1000. On April 11, it was reported the concession stand at Wheelersburg Little League had been broken into with food and other items valued at over $10,000 being stolen. Through investigation, a suspect was identified and law enforcement personnel responded to a residence at 1105 Cartro Road in Franklin Furnace. Arrested at the scene were 41-year-old Burt Copley and 26-year-old Jessica Copley.
