Funds coming to repair flood-damaged roads
An announcement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet earlier in the week has Floyd County in line for some road money. According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the city of Prestonsburg will receive $200,000 in County Road Aid emergency funds. This money will be used for slide repairs to various city streets which suffered recent flood damage. The KTC says the city will be responsible for administering the work.
