House fire claims everything a family owns, but no lives

A family of three, including a four year old child, lost everything they owned when their mobile home caught fire Friday morning. The flames started around 5:00 a.m. Friday at the home on the Right Fork of Turner Branch in the Eastern community of Floyd County. It turns out the family, who is usually home at that time of the morning, had left home earlier than normal due to a shift change for the one of the adults. Investigators have not determined yet what caused the fire, but firefighters say it was accidental. The family says they do not have insurance. Donations are also accepted at the nearby homes on the Right Fork of Turner Branch.
