KSP hard at work investigating recent robberies

Floyd County has been plagued by robberies, and so far no arrests. Kentucky State Police are investigating whether the recent string of robberies over the past two months are related and asking the public for information that will lead them to the suspects. The last robbery was at the Vance Quick Mart in Hi Hat. Trooper Shaun Little asks that people pay close attention to those coming and going from businesses, and Troopers will continue to respond and patrol the area. Detectives are out all over the Left Beaver area tracking down leads and the Kentucky State Police is dedicated to finding the people responsible. The Cardinal Country Store is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in their case. The suspect description for the latest robbery at the Vance Quick Mart in Hi Hat is a man about five feet, five inches tall, in his thirties to forties, wearing a ski mask, a hoodie, and camouflage. He had tattoos on his hands.
