Breathitt Co. man arrested for stealing trooper's car
In a story rife with irony, a Breathitt County man is now behind bars after allegedly stealing a Kentucky State Police officer's cruiser. KSP say they were responding to a reported assault when a trooper wound up forced to chase the suspect on foot. During the chase, police say the suspect’s brother, Justin Taulbee, got in the cruiser and took off. Police found the cruiser abandoned just across the county line in Lee County. Justin Taulbee was arrested later and charged with fleeing and evading and the theft of a car.
