House Speaker Stumbo says new bill targets "pill mill" doctors
Speaker of the House Greg Stumbo has reiterated his position on "pill mills," and explained upcoming legislation to put a stop to them. He says the upcoming congressional session will include a comprehensive drug bill to crack down on doctors who over-prescribe. Stumbo told the UNITE Pike Coalition he believes "pill mills" are putting thousands of illegal pills into addicts hands, and as a society, we simply can’t just put people in jail and expect that to solve the issue.
