Over 40 area kids to "Shop with a Cop" this year
The big guy in red, Santa Claus, got a little help from the boys in blue this year--and his magic sleigh got a police escort this weekend as the Prestonsburg Police Department hosted its 13th annual "Shop with a Cop" program. Lt. Steve Little, with the Prestonsburg Police Department, says his agency expected to have 46 children participate in the program this year. Seventeen of the children have been selected from local area schools, and their siblings round out the rest.
