Mingo Co. doctor accused of selling Xanax

A doctor from Mingo County is facing federal charges. The U.S. Attorney's Office says Dr. William Ryckman was illegally obtaining and then selling Xanax in the Williamson area back in February, 2010. He worked at the Mountain Medical Center and before federal agents raided the pain clinic, as many as 400 patients a day were making visits. They would pay $450 for the first visit, and then they would come back and pay $150 for a refill. Doctor Katherine Hoover also worked at the clinic. She has been in the Bahamas since the clinic was shut down.
