Perry Co. car accident claims a life
A man is dead after a car accident on Highway 15 in Perry County. Officials say 34-year-old Donald Tharp of Jackson lost control of his car, crossed the center line, went through a guard rail and over an embankment. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
