Prestonsburg Food City raises $1,000 for charity
The Prestonsburg Food City has teamed with a local charity to raise over $1,000 to fight hunger in eastern Kentucky this Christmas. For nineteen years, Food City has conducted their annual "Race Against Holiday Hunger" campaign to raise money for nonprofit relief organizations. This year, Food City raised over $360,000 in its campaign, and of that, $1,146.84 is earmarked for Floyd County and the Fitzpatrick First Baptist Church.
