KSP make it clear they will be out in force for New Year's Eve
Kentucky State Police has announced they will be out in force looking for the speeders, the drunk drivers, those without seat belts, and even those that are following too closely behind other drivers. There will also be extra enforcement just for the New Year’s weekend. The job this holiday weekend for officers like Trooper Scott Felder is to keep you safe. Speed has played a factor in many deadly crashes throughout the state. But over the past five years, those statistics have dropped. It's troopers' presence on the highway that is helping to bring those numbers down.
