Knott Co. advises boiling water while service returns to normal
Officials say everyone in Knott County should have water again. A pump failure last week caused the entire county to be without water most of the week. They were able to re-route water to customers in Hindman and Caney Creek, but nearly everyone else had to use bottled water. New pumps were installed Thursday and by Christmas Eve, most homes had running water. Officials say people should still boil their water until further notice.
