House Speaker Stumbo visits with schoolchildren
Kentucky House Speaker Greg Stumbo visited a Floyd County school yesterday, and students at Stumbo Elementary were eager share their thoughts and opinions on citizenship. Stumbo says he was impressed by how much the kids already knew about the subject, saying that talking to kids is the fun part of his job. Stumbo feels there are too many negatives associated with Kentucky's schools, but says visiting this school is always a positive experience.
