Former VA police officer arrested with young girl

A former Virginia sheriff’s deputy, charged with abduction and 12 counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor, has waived extradition back to Virginia. Kentucky State Police arrested William Grubbs, 47, of Bedford, Va., on a "fugitive from justice" warrant during a traffic stop in Carter County last week. The 16-year-old girl he is accused of abducting was in his car when he was arrested.
