Fatal home fire in Cannonsburg
Firefighters in Cannonsburg say a woman is dead following a mobile home fire early Wednesday morning. The fire in the 800-block of Gail Drive in Boyd County was reported just after 1:30 a.m. Firefighters say they believe the cause of the fire may be smoking-related. One firefighter says the woman was 55 years old, though her name is not being released. We're told a neighbor called 911 after seeing heavy smoke in the area. A spokesperson for the State Fire Marshal is not releasing any other information at this time.
