KSP officer injured in accident with wrecker

A Kentucky State Police trooper was injured Tuesday morning when a wrecker crashed into his cruiser, slamming it into an embankment, according to a KSP news release. Trooper Matt Ridener was treated for head injuries at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland and released. The accident happened about 6:50 a.m. Tuesday after Ridener responded to a non-injury crash near mile-marker 159 in Carter County. Ridener had just finished investigating when the accident occurred.
