Floyd Co. resident among victims in Pulaski Co. murder-suicide
A Floyd County native is dead following a murder-suicide in Pulaski County. The Pulaski County coroner is saying that 31-year-old Mark Willis shot and killed former Prestonsburg resident 36-year-old Robyn Slone before turning the gun on himself. Officials in Pulaski County released the identities of the man and a woman killed in a murder-suicide late Wednesday night. Burnside police say officers found the couple dead from gunshot wounds just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment located above a restaurant on Stone Crest Drive. Officials say neither Wills or Slone were from Pulaski County. According to her Facebook status, Slone had been in a relationship with Willis.
