Ashland man found dead in South Carolina

A missing man from Ashland has been found dead in South Carolina. Sgt. Wayne Jordan with the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office says search crews discovered the body of James "Buck" Davis about 10:45 a.m. Thursday after he was reported missing Sunday night. They say his body was found next to a crashed motorcycle, about 50 yards away from a main highway in the Cash area. Investigators say it appears Davis died from injuries he received in the crash. No foul play is suspected and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the accident. Davis' body has been sent off for a full autopsy. Davis was 39-years-old.
