A week after house fire, family cat finds its way back home
A family in the region says they have a little something to thankful for. More than a week after their Powell County home burned, the family's cat has finally come home.
They originally presumed it had died in the fire. Alison Wallace was asleep on the couch last Wednesday when the fire broke out, but she managed to get out. Firefighters had saved her three other pets, but the cat had not been found. Now, after a week, it's found its way back into the loving arms of the family who don't have much else left.
