An arrest is made in connection with an attempted robbery in Floyd County
Kentucky State Police have made an arrest in connection with an attempted robbery at the Wheelwright Family Drug Store on Thursday. Police say a man entered the store, demanded money and then left the store on foot. State Police arrested 32 year old Anthony King of Kite on Saturday during a traffic stop in Knott County. King was charged with attempted robbery and tampering with physical evidence. He was being held in the Floyd County detention center.
