One person is killed in a crash on US 23
A 66-year-old man was killed on Wednesday in a traffic accident on U.S. 23 near Pikeville. Kentucky State Police say Andrew Logan of Lexington was killed after his car was hit by an SUV that was attempting to pull onto the highway. The SUV pulled into the path of Logan's vehicle. The driver of the SUV and three passengers were also injured in the crash. Police say Logan was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
There is no word as of yet if any charges will be filed in the incident. Kentucky State Police are continuing to investigate.
