KSP recovers stolen trailer, makes arrests in Johnson Co. theft
Monday KSP Post 9 in Pikeville received a call of a theft in Johnson County. KSP Trooper Jimmy Stratton responded to Goggans Construction and conducted an investigation on the theft of a utility trailer containing construction tools.
Through the course of the investigation, Trooper Stratton located and recovered the trailer and the contents. Trooper Stratton also located two men accused of being involved in the theft, 21-year-old Spencer Nauman and 48-year-old Charles D. Plummer, both of Paintsville. The two were charged with one count each of theft by unlawful taking and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Trooper Stratton was assisted on the investigation by the Paintsville Police Department.
