KDMC heart clinic opening in Prestonsburg

King’s Daughters Heart & Vascular Center has been helping patients successfully manage heart failure for years, through its Center for Heart Health in Ashland. Now, people living in Prestonsburg and the surrounding areas will be able to take advantage of the knowledge and skills of King’s Daughters heart failure specialists with the opening of a new Heart Failure Clinic in Prestonsburg.

Nurse practitioner Terri Hall, APRN, provides services under the direction of cardiologist Ghassan Dalati, M.D. The clinic is located in the Kentucky Heart Institute offices at 1709 State Route 321, Prestonsburg, in the Northside Center. The clinic opened yesterday. The Heart Failure Clinic is open to anyone with heart failure, regardless of where they have been diagnosed or who is providing care. Physician referral is not required. Most insurance plans cover the services of the clinic.
