Court dates set for man accused of assaulting jailer, stealing vehicle
Two court dates are set for a man behind bars who authorities say assaulted a Perry County Deputy Jailer and stole his van. It was back in August when Stevie Wynn allegedly pushed the jailer out of the moving vehicle and escaped custody.
Wynn pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, wanton endangerment, escape and theft by unlawful taking. He faces charges in Knott, Perry, and Letcher Counties. He will be back in court on April 23rd and 26th for pre-trial conferences.
