Kentucky linebacker arrested for trafficking
Kentucky linebacker Ridge Wilson has been dismissed from the football team after being arrested on felony drug trafficking charges in Louisville. Monday, University spokesman Tony Neely confirmed the dismissal. According to a police citation, officers arrested Wilson early Sunday morning after finding him parked on the side of a downtown street in an area known for drug trafficking. Police say Wilson mentioned several times that he played for Kentucky and gave consent to search the car. An officer says he found a bag of Xanax pills hidden in a pair of jeans.
