Investigators call latest house fire potential arson
Another vacant home has burnt down in Pikeville, and investigators call it suspicious. It is the fifth suspected arson case in Pikeville in the past year. Nothing is left of the vacant house on Poplar Street in Pikeville. Firefighters say when they arrived early Thursday morning, flames were at least ten feet in the air, even burning the overhead power lines. Holly Day and Eric Clifton, who live next door, believe it was arson. They say they were walking their dog when the fire started. Anyone who has any information about the case is urged to call police immediately.
