Icy roads claim two lives in Perry County
A Monday afternoon accident on an icy Highway 15 in Perry County has claimed the lives of a librarian and her ten-year-old grandson. Staff members at Riverside Christian School say the sudden death of one of their teachers and students was both tragic and untimely. Now they are doing their best to honor the memories of Shirley and Curtis Watts. Though the school has students from kindergarten through 12th grade, they all together total just 40 students, making it impossible to ignore two desks that are now empty.
