Sexual abuse trial of Magoffin Co. man continues

The trial of a Magoffin County man charged with sexual abuse and sodomy will continue in Knott County. A jury was selected and testimony began in the trial of Chester Allen.

In 2009, Allen was on trial in Magoffin County when state police say his son threatened three jurors in the case.  Allen's mother was also accused of threatening Commonwealth's Attorney Graham Martin. Both pleaded guilty to the charges in November of 2009.

Court officials say a jury could get Allen's case as early as Tuesday.
