Trial for two in hate crime case
The trial of two eastern Kentucky men charged with a hate crime for attacking a gay man has been postponed indefinitely. The judge delayed proceedings for 20-year-old Anthony Ray Jenkins of Partridge and 37-year-old Jason David Jenkins. The U.S. Attorney's Office says David and Anthony Jenkins kidnapped a man in Harlan County and severely beat him because he is gay. The trial was scheduled to start Monday in London. A new date has not been set.
