One dead after head-on collision on U.S. 23

On Tuesday, 44-year-old Jodie Hall was driving her Dodge SUV north on U.S. 23 when she crossed the center line and hit 24-year-old Angel Thornsbury Miller's Jeep head on. Miller, who was a mother of two, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Hall was transported to Highlands Regional Medical Center for serious injuries. Police are investigating and ask anyone who witnessed the accident to please call the Prestonsburg Police department at 886-1010.
