Competency hearing rescheduled for man and woman in sexual abuse case
A competency hearing for a Floyd County man and woman charged with sodomy and sexual abuse will be re-scheduled. Eddie and Rhonda Clay were indicted on charges of sodomy and sexual abuse. Police say Eddie Clay allegedly had sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 12. Officials say Rhonda Clay also allegedly aided in forcing the child to perform sexual acts on Eddie Clay. A new court date was not set.
