Investigators close the book on Perry Co. cheating scandal

One of three remaining investigations into alleged cheating on past ACT exams in Perry County is closed and the case has been dismissed. The Hazard Herald reports the Education Professional Standards Board dismissed the case against former principal Estill Neace and no action was taken against his certification.

Two previous investigations resulted in the suspension of certificates for two Perry County school employees. Two more cases remain open.
