Temporary school open in Morgan Co.

Students returned to school in Morgan County on Monday. Most schools were not affected by the tornado, but West Liberty Elementary did receive damage. In just two weeks, a warehouse has been converted into a new school so students could finish out the school year. As the buses and students arrived, it almost felt like the first day of school. Students even got a chance to meet the governor when he stopped by to see the progress. It will take some getting used to, but inside this miracle on the hill learning will continue and life will go on. The principal says this will be the temporary home for the school for at least another year. They plan to make improvements this summer before the kids come back in the fall.
