Hal Rogers tours damaged areas, discusses relief funding
Rep. Harold “Hal†Rogers checked in on tornado recovery efforts across the 5th Congressional District, making stops Friday in both West Liberty and Salyersville. After touring damaged areas, seeing both the devastation and the arduous rebuilding efforts of his constituents, Rogers met with local officials from the region to discuss his efforts in Washington D.C. to find additional emergency funding options for the recovery process and his request to Federal Emergency Management Agency to secure its long-term commitment in the rebuilding process.
