Floyd Co. pharmacy robbed

Kentucky State Police received a call yesterday of an armed robbery at Howard Family Pharmacy in the Eastern community of Floyd County.

Information obtained at the scene indicates that at approximately 3:12 a.m., four males wearing masks approached the night security officer outside of the Howard Pharmacy. One of males brandished a weapon. They forced their way inside, and an undisclosed quantity of prescription narcotics were taken.

Three of the males were described as following: 5'10" tall / 220 pounds; 5'9'' tall / 190 pounds; and 5'7" tall / 150 pounds. The four males were seen leaving the scene in a late 1990s or early 2000s black Chevrolet Silverado extended cab pickup. No one was injured in the robbery.
