Letcher Co. man pleads guilty to stealing gas from cop car
The now nationally famous Letcher Co. gas bandit has entered his plea: guilty.
The story garnered a lot of attention after the Michael Baker posted to Facebook a picture of himself apparently blatantly siphoning out of the tank of a Jenkins police cruiser while making a crude gesture to the camera. That picture went viral and he went to jail.
Baker was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
