KSP find meth lab, kids at house in Ashland

Three men in Ashland have been arrested and charged with making methamphetamine.

KSP say they discovered the meth lab at a house on 29th Street--near an elementary school. Inside, investigators reported finding several items used for cooking meth, along with an active lab.

Two children, age eight and age two, were taken from the house and placed in a care program.

Troopers arrested 36-year-old Jeremy Howell, 29-year-old Stephen Robertson, and 35-year-old Paul Phelps, all of Ashland. On top of the meth-related charges, they're also being charged for endangering the welfare of a minor. All three are now lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
