Ordinary traffic stop leads to drug bust
Police say a routine traffic stop in Perry County became a drug bust when they pulled over Bruce Combs. Reports indicate they only stopped him for a seatbelt violation.
When they discovered 140 prescription pills that didn't belong to him along with $1,500 in cash, they made the arrest. Combs is charged with first degree drug trafficking in a controlled substance. His passenger, Sammy Watts, is charged with possession of marijuana and public intoxication.
