Duo holds up Prestonsburg convenience store
Yesterday, KSP received a call about a robbery at the Patel Quick Mart at Ky. Rt. 321 in Prestonsburg.
KSP responded to investigate and conduct interviews. Reports indicate a male and a female entered, brandished a gun, took an undisclosed amount of money, and fled on foot. No descriptions have been offered at this time, and no injuries were reported.
Though police have not commented on any possible connection, the M.O. mirrors that of the Monday bank robbery in Pike County.
The incident is under investigation by KSP Det. Jimmy Anderson.
