Special election winner victorious in primary for race to keep her seat
For the 82nd district in southern Kentucky, Regina Bunch easily defeated Larry Goins in the Republican primary.
Last year, Bunch won a special election to fill her husband's seat. Dewayne Bunch had to resign when he was badly injured while trying to break up a fight at Whitley County High School where he taught. Regina says Dewayne is still in the process of recovering. Regina says she took over her husband's position to continue his reputation and what he strived for as state representative.
