New technology adds to KSP's investigative arsenal
The Kentucky State Police will add a new tool to help solve crimes and analyze crash scenes, and the agency held a news conference yesterday morning in Frankfort to unveil and demonstrate it.
The new, state-of-the-art 3D scanner will provide a "true view" of crime scenes. State police Commissioner Rodney Brewer and Sgt. Chad Mills showed the equipment at KSP headquarters. The agency says the equipment is a "cutting edge tool" to help solve crimes and prosecute criminal cases.
