Voter turnout higher than expected
Voter turnout across the mountains was not expected to be high for this primary election, but voters of the region exceeded expectations.
Voters in the area say they felt this primary election is as important as any other, and that they know November's election depends on today's outcomes. While the total percentages have not come in yet, it's anticipated that somewhere around 45 percent came out to the polls.
