KSP investigating after woman found dead in her own home
Kentucky State Police is investigating after a woman's body was found inside her home.
KSP received a call Saturday from a man reporting that he had found the body of Karen Pitts, age 44, in her residence. Troopers responded to the scene and Pitts was officially pronounced dead by Magoffin County Coroner Mark Jenkins.
No further information has been released. KSP Det. Chris Phillips is continuing to investigate the incident. He was assisted at the scene by Det. Jason Melro.
