Investigation, money troubles could close David School

It appears The David School may be forced to close due to mounting financial hardships.

The attorney general's office is conducting an investigation into Daniel Greene's financial practices concerning his management of school money--they suspect Greene may have appropriated school funds for personal use. The troubles are growing, as paychecks are becoming late and the school recently dropped its lunch program.

The David School was founded in 1974 as a means for at-risk kids and high school dropouts to pursue their education in a safe environment.
